The Pearly Gates

Come with me to the eternal dawn
Where happiness will always go on
Step forward and walk through the gate
Enter a scene where there is no hate

A radiant light fills the realm
Tis God's great glory that overwhelms
But not with fear, with comfort and joy
behold the angels in His employ

The hosts suddenly begin to recite
and I am filled with unforeseen delight
"Welcome to heaven, make yourself at home"
A man approaches, holding a tome

You did very well, i'm proud of you son
because you have loved me, your new life has begun
and then I realized who was speaking to me,
my Lord Jesus Christ in all His glory.

Wild Dreams

Sleep away the evening and dream
Dreams of laughter or crazy theme
Fantasy is the way to live
When you have nothing left to give
I dream a hundred dreams a day
but when i wake up i can't remember the way
What did i dream about last night?
I never remember, though sometimes i might
Dreams of romance, dreams of fights
Dreams of wonder, or horrible sights
In another world i swim and fly
How did i get here, i dont know why
Explore the changes that be
A snowy night i see
Friends gather together in strange circumstance
in this dream i am free to dance
I am able to play and laugh as a child
I wish every dream were so wild
